Abrasive wheels on a ceramic bond are an even more advanced type of abrasive tool that has replaced emery and corundum pegs. Compositions of refractory clays, feldspar, boron glass, talc and other materials are mixed in the cola. Crystallization of the binder occurs under high temperature as a result of melting or agglomeration.
Ceramic stakes are removed by mixing abrasive sand with a raw binder, molding the mixture in a press and dripping. Circles are produced in all standard forms. To grind non-standard profiles, stakes are subject to profiling - turned on turning benches or directly in a grinding bench to achieve the required shape (profile).
Ceramic bonding with water has high water resistance, water resistance, chemical resistance and extremely high durability. The crunchiness is the main part of the ceramic circles. Therefore, the wheels should be stuck in stationary grinding machines and should not tolerate lateral impact forces.
However, ceramic wheels are used in most grinding operations and are produced from abrasive materials: white and black electrocorundum, black and green silicon carbide, chromium-titanium electrocorundum in a wide range grain ranges.
