PJSC "Zaporizhsky Abrasive Combine" (JSC) produces cut-off and grinding wheels on a bakelite bond with reinforced elements. For the safe operation of the wheels when working at a speed of 80 m/s, the wheels are reinforced with glass mesh reinforcement.
Cutting and grinding wheels are manufactured on modern Italian equipment. JSC manufactures cutting and grinding wheels from materials of its own production: electrocorundum of normal grade 14A and silicon carbide of black grade 54C. Modern phenol-formaldehyde resins from leading European manufacturers are used as a binder during the manufacture of wheels.
To increase the accuracy of the landing hole, the wheels are calibrated with a metal sleeve. The end surface of ZAK cutting and grinding wheels is made hard and grooved.
This lowers the temperature in the cutting zone and reduces power consumption by 60-80% compared to smooth surface wheels, and also ensures spring-free cutting. Springless cutting does not cause overheating and changes in the metal structure at the cutting site.
Abrasive cutting and deburring is one of the most productive types of blanking and surface treatment operations.
